Couples
You are just about to start your first session of 4.
You have 5 couples in your face to face class.
One couple start to giggle and are disrupting the whole class.
What do you do?
Loud mouth
A women in your class is constantly undermining your teaching. She trys to correct you regularly. What do you do to prevent this happening in your next class?
Questions questions questions
You are running your second class and they are getting to know each other really well. One lady asks a question off topic! another one tries to answer, then they all join in. Before you realise it 10 mins has flown by. How can you regain the classes attention?
Shyness
You are running your first class and you see a very quiet lady sat at the back. She is obviously very shy and reluctant to speak up. How would. you encourage her to come out of her shell?
Zoom class
You are running your classes via Zoom - you have 5 couples online. You find the men are sitting quiet, not interacting very well. What can you do to support them and make them feel more comfortable during your next session?
Later arrivals
You are on zoom or in person. The session is meant to start at 10am but there are late arrivals, which is delaying your start. Do you just start anyway and hope they catch up? do you start and then reiterate the subject when they arrive? How could you prevent this happening next time?
