• Were learning objectives stated at the start?
• Was the content accurate and evidence-based?
• Were topics relevant to participants’ needs? (e.g., symptoms, lifestyle, mental health, treatment options)
• Were real-life examples or stories used to illustrate points?
2. Teaching Methods
• Did the teacher use a variety of methods? (e.g., slides, discussion, demonstrations)
• Were visual aids clear and effective?
• Were interactive activities included? (e.g., group work, reflection exercises)
• Were handouts or resources provided?
3. Communication Skills
• Was the teacher clear, confident, and easy to understand?
• Was the tone warm, encouraging, and professional?
• Did they use simple language for complex topics?
• Did they check for understanding? (e.g., questions, summaries)
4. Participant Engagement
• Were participants actively involved or asked questions?
• Did the teacher encourage sharing experiences safely?
• Were quieter participants included?
• Did the teacher handle challenging questions or discussions effectively?
5. Classroom/Group Management
• Was time managed well?
• Were transitions between topics smooth?
• Was the environment supportive and inclusive?
• Did the teacher manage disruptions calmly and effectively?
6. Personal Reflection
• What did you like most about this teaching style?
• What techniques could you adopt in your own sessions?
• What would you do differently?
• Any new knowledge or ideas gained for your menopause teaching?
