The Menopause Doula Training Course is an in-depth professional program designed to equip learners with the knowledge, confidence, and empathy needed to support women and families through the menopause transition.
The course combines scientific understanding, holistic health principles, and effective communication skills to prepare you to offer compassionate, informed, and practical guidance during one of life’s most transformative stages.
Through a blend of theory, discussion, and reflective practice, you’ll explore how hormonal changes affect the body, mind, and relationships — and how a Menopause Doula can offer essential support across these areas.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of the course, you will:
• Understand the stages and symptoms of perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.
• Learn the hormonal, emotional, and physical changes that occur and how they influence daily life.
• Explore holistic approaches including nutrition, lifestyle, mindfulness, and self-care strategies.
• Develop coaching and communication skills to support clients with empathy and respect.
• Gain tools to help clients navigate medical options, including HRT and complementary therapies.
• Understand how menopause impacts relationships, work, and family dynamics, and how to support these transitions.
• Learn how to build a professional Menopause Doula practice within your community.
Course Structure
• Duration: 4-week (2 hours per week) blended learning program or you have an option to learn through a
correspondence course.
• Delivery: Online interactive workshops + independent assignments
• Learning Style: Flexible, supportive, and reflective — combining evidence-based knowledge with practical tools
• Assessment: Short written reflections, case study development, and final project
