Midwife Assistant Training (US)

This course prepares learners to work as Assistant Midwives / Maternity Support Workers supporting registered midwives in hospital, community, and home birth settings across the United States. The programme develops knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours required to provide safe, compassionate maternity care according to US standards. Learners gain an understanding of pregnancy, birth, postnatal care, infant wellbeing, communication with families, and working within professional boundaries. Upon completion, learners will have foundational knowledge and practical skills to work as an Assistant Practitioner in Maternity Services.
