About
Midwives regularly work in emotionally intense environments that include birth trauma, medical emergencies, grief, and high expectations from families and colleagues. This course explores how unresolved personal experiences may shape emotional responses in the workplace, helping midwives develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and compassionate care for both themselves and the families they support. Participants will define emotional triggers, identify personal reactions in clinical practice, and understand how early life experiences influence responses. By the end of this program, you will apply trauma-informed self-reflection and develop practical strategies for emotional regulation and professional resilience to improve communication during emotionally charged situations.
